2016 Renton Break-A-Thon

Renton Breakathon is an annual charity fundraiser that works much like a walk-a-thon. Students from martial arts schools in Renton solicit funds from their families and friends with per-board donations or a fixed amount. The Renton Breakathon is held in conjunction with the Renton River Days Festival. This year it will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Liberty Park in Renton. At last year’s event students used their martial arts kicks and strikes to break as many boards as they could in a set amount of time, and over 100 students raised more than $7,000 and all of it was donated to communities In Schools of Renton.
