Ana Reyes comes to us from El Paso, TX where she worked with both school districts and nonprofit organizations. She was born in Mexico in the state of Coahuila. She came to the US when she started high school and has her bachelor’s degree in biology from UTEP (The University of Texas at El Paso). She decided to join Communities In Schools because she loves to help and make the difference in people’s lives. Being an immigrant herself makes her understand the struggles that kids face everyday and she wants to help in whatever she can to make their life easier.
Ana loves to travel, listen to Latin music, watch the beautiful scenery of nature around the area, go to concerts and is a big Harry Potter fan. During her free time, she likes to spend quality time with family and friends. As she just moved to the state of Washington, she looks forward to explore the city.
